Study of BEMER Therapy in Patients with Multiple Sclerosis

In a randomized, double-blind, controlled trial, 37 patients with Multiple Sclerosis were evaluated for the long-term effects of BEMER use on MS-related fatigue.

The intervention consisted of BEMER PEMF Therapy treatment for 8 minutes twice daily in comparison to placebo for 12 weeks.

Results: BEMER Therapy was well tolerated.  There was evidence of a significant difference of MFIS value (primary outcome criterion) after 12 weeks in favor of the verum group (26.84 versus 36.67; p = 0.024).

In this pilot study, we were able to demonstrate a beneficial effect of BEMER intervention on MS fatigue.
